Elkhart Tolle here addresses the Law of Attraction which is a key assumption that underly a particular stream of Spiritual thinking. In his own unique way he explores the “Law of Attraction” and ties it into the simplistic manner of “As a person Thinketh, so shall they become”, line of thinking.
Although these are not his exact words he makes the point that all manner of need, want, desire and visualisation has its roots and origins in the emptiness one feels.
If one feels satisfied as a whole being, fulfilled in purpose, direction and nature then one is literally at ONE with the Source of all. It is only when one begins to use these tools of imagination, visualisation and so forth to manipulate energetic outcomes, that one realises the issue is not the tool itself, but rather the engineer behind the tools.
If the engineer does not like the raw material then there is little hope that a masterpiece will be created.
Hence listen to this message and consider its import in your own life. The key, in my own thinking is to perfect the raw material and then, only then will you truly know who you are. Once that is realised then so will all laws come into full realisation without conscious application of them. That is the sign of a realised being. An enlightened being.
